Destination Kaiserslautern: more than an insider Tipp…

Kaiserslautern lives from contradictions. For a large city it is rather introspective. For an international city it has remained unbelievably true to its roots. For a city in the Palatinate Forest, it is easy to reach thanks to an excellent infrastructure. And for a historical city it is unbelievably modern.
For travelling persons or attendants of conferences and courses the destination Kaiserslautern offers the possibility, to daff aside every meeting on your order of business. Make the heart of the Palatinate your agenda item no. 1 and get away from it all by one of the numerous leisure activities.

Garden Fair and Japanese Garden

Visit the Europeans biggest dinosaurs’ exhibition at the grounds of the Garden Fair or relax by having an original Japanese tea ceremonial at the Japanese Garden and create power out of the harmony from light and shadow, plants and stones, water and paths…

Palatinate Theatre

Discover Kaiserslautern’s ‘boards that mean the world’ where already plays like ‘Faust’, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ or ‘Ladies Night’ received their premiere. The theatre convinces with musical theatre, play as well as ballet.

Palatinate Gallery

Visit the Gallery which was built in the years from 1875 till 1880 from plans by Karl Spatz in neorenaissance style. It offers an excellent collection of paintings and sculptures as well as selected craft.

Crest the 28.650 centimetres of stardom, which is called the ‘Betzenberg’. To name it a mountain because of 286,50 metres is a little bit foolhardy, but professional footballers called the ‘Betzenberg’ for years the mountain which is the most difficult to climb in Germany.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Kaiserslautern!
